SURAJ MANI & THE TATTVA TRIP

Suraj Mani (Motherjane) and I first collaborated for an anniversary concert for Bangalore based band Perfect Strangers towards the end of 2015.

The rest was a whirlwind of learning 20 songs in 5 days before our first gig together. The Tattva Trip has grown tremendously since that day and has garnered a considerable fan following. The music speaks about current affairs and life through metaphors, amassing a reputation for painting aural pictures and helping audiences look at things from a different perspective.

The sound of the band draws from elements in Folk, Rock & Psychedelic music genres, creating textures and background scores to the stories being told.

GALEEJ GURUS

Galeej Gurus has been one of the most recognized and loved bands from the city of Bangalore. Playing together for over more than a decade we are known for our straight ahead punchy brand of rock'n' roll. We have toured extensively, headlined festivals and shared the stage with Muse, Korn, Killswitch Engage, Deep Purple, Mr. Big, Bryan Adams & The Rasmus.

The band has played at some of the biggest festivals and has shared stage with the likes of Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Prodigy, Machine Head, Mr. Big and more. I toured with JYG for about 3 years and was part of their second album Accidental Hero.

PAROUSIA

The powerhouse progressive rock outfit started by my childhood friend Bryan and myself was famed for its massive sound, technical prowess and lush harmonies. The band though a bit of a shadow player in the South Indian Music Scene was instrumental in inspiring a plethora of new artists and was one of the pioneers of the Progressive Rock Genre in Bangalore.

MOLOTOV COCKTAIL

Molotov Cocktail was a cult status band based out of Madras. They were known for being extremely versatile playing music spanning funk, pop, rock, metal, jazz, R&B, Soul and Grunge. The band stormed the Indian music scene winning every available individual and collective accolade.

Having started playing rhythm guitar initially I slowly stepped out and grew into the role of handling lead guitar responsibilities. This band was responsible in shaping my musicality at a very early stage.
